Handheld Valve Exerciser RS-2

The Wachs RS-2 Handheld Valve Exerciser is designed with operator health in mind, helping to prevent arm and back injuries associated with manually turning large, stubborn or frozen valves.

The RS-2 is the perfect tool for operating or exercising handwheel and rising stem valves. Utilising a large, open 102mm hub design, it accommodates most varieties of rising stems through the hub opening. The RS-2 offers a maximum of 55 RPM for fast, reliable opening and closing of water, wastewater and natural gas valves in the field.

The RS-2 Handheld Valve Exerciser is available in three power supply options:

Hydraulic (maximum torque of 678Nm)
Pneumatic (maximum torque of 1085Nm)
Electric (maximum torque of 949Nm)

The Wachs RS-2 Handheld Valve Exerciser is available as a standalone product or with VITALS Software 3.3.1 (Valve Information Tracking and Logging System), which equips an operator to record critical valve information and GPS position valve location while exercising valves.

The RS-2 Portable Valve Operator for rising and non-rising stem valves delivers up to 800 lb-ft torque and a maximum of 55 rpm for fast, reliable opening and closing of water, wastewater, pipeline and petrochemical valves.
